PCYC Play Our Way Girls Grant Initiative

PCYC Grafton is excited to offer the opportunity to participate in free girls-only gym lessons as part of their Play Our Way Girls Grant initiative. These 1-hour sessions will run on Mondays and are available strictly on a first in, best dressed basis.

Each session will be led by qualified staff, with a female personal trainer onsite to provide support, guidance, and advice where needed. The aim is to create a safe, welcoming environment where young women feel comfortable learning new skills, building strength, and gaining confidence.

Benefits for students include:

• A positive introduction to the gym without financial pressure
• Support in developing both physical and mental wellbeing
• Building confidence in a space that can often feel intimidating
• Encouragement to pursue lifelong healthy habits

Jacarok Music Festival

Jacarok Association Incorporated, is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating and fostering music, creativity, and community spirit here in the Clarence Valley.

We are proud to present JACAROK – “Something For Everyone”, a full-day, family-friendly music and arts festival celebrating 50 years of musical history and community connection. This special event takes place on Saturday 6th September at the Grafton Racecourse.

The day will feature:
 Four stages showcasing all styles of music, local and touring artists, featured on radio, Spotify and the Godfather of EDM ‘Nick Skitz’ with 10 Arias and 60 albums. Plus many artists from acoustic folk and blues to rock, metal, jazz, and electronic dance music
 Performances from legendary musicians across generations and young up-and-coming local talent
 Free youth activities, including face painting, live sound and art workshops, and opportunities for hands-on work experience
 Food trucks, market stalls, and bar service provided by the Grafton Racecourse team
